Dr. Aslaug “Oz” Mandel is a veterinarian with a passion for pain management, wound healing, and neurology. She founded Roaring Fork Animal Rehabilitation & Fitness in 2012 with the goal of helping animals who have lost their ability to move normally. We fondly work with geriatric pets, animals recovering from surgery, pets suffering from neurological conditions and/or weakness.

Each patient receives an individual assessment during their therapy appointment in order to tailor the treatment(s) to their specific needs

The treatment(s) aim to help the patient recover from injury or surgery faster than limited activity alone. We strive to make animal rehabilitation fun and productive by reducing pain to ultimately make the patient more comfortable
